Sigma Smart Solutions sets up and supports home technology for older adults in the Tulsa area. If you are an occupational therapist, care manager, discharge planner, home care agency, or aging-services staff member, this page explains what we do, what we do not do, and how a referral works.
We come to the home and get the technology that is already there working properly: the tablet, the phone, the Wi-Fi, video calling with family, the TV, the printer. We add a small number of consumer devices that make daily routines easier: lights that come on when someone walks in, smart plugs, a voice assistant, a video doorbell to their own screen, a thermostat with a simple schedule, and sensors that keep the home comfortable and let the family see that the house is warm and dry. Every visit ends with a written Home Technology Report the family keeps and a short walkthrough for whoever will be helping from a distance.
We are a technology setup company, not a care provider. We do not offer opinions on a person's abilities or on the physical layout of the home, and we do not make recommendations about what a person needs. That is your work. If you have recommended specific technology, we install it and set it up. If you have not, we set up what the family asks for and note in the report what else is available.
We refer out, and do not provide: grab bars, railings, and bathroom hardware; alert-button (PERS) services; alarm systems tied to a central station; hardwired electrical work such as switch replacement or in-wall wiring; and any device that records images or audio inside the home as part of a service. If a family asks us about one of these, we point them to the right provider, and we are glad to point them to you.
Give the family our number or send them to sigmasmartsolutions.com. The entry visit is a 90-minute Home Tech Check-In, $99 for Tulsa families this month, normally $149. The family pays us directly. There is no fee to you and no fee from you. With the family's permission, we will send you a copy of the Home Technology Report so you can see what was set up.
Sigma Smart Solutions LLC is locally owned in Tulsa. The founder, Asher Nasir, is a senior reliability engineer. The company is the installation arm of Sigma Age, a patent-pending home technology platform built in Tulsa that uses no cameras, no microphones, and nothing anyone has to wear.
